This was the first in a string of 3 shows in the Bay Area over the Thanksgiving weekend – our first time playing there. I remember this was only a few weeks
after the Loma Prieta earthquake and one day we rode the BART from Hayward into San Francisco (I think the Bay Bridge was still closed so BART was the only way to get from Oakland to SF) and we could see the collapsed freeway that had crushed motorists – I’ll never forget seeing that. This was a good set and we played well, but the show was not promoted at all and we played to about 10 or 15 people – very discouraging. Watching it, though, I think the band was in top form and we had fun as always. The camera operator was not very good – there are cuts in every song, lots of shaky angles and focus problems. As annoying and disappointing as this is, I still enjoy watching this one.
